Ryan U12 Blue 4-2 Barn Sports (Echo U12 D)

Ryan started this game poorly with no enthusiasm or will to win, after a while Barn Sports capitalised on Ryan’s poor play and went into a 2 goal lead. As the half progressed Ryan started to defend with more composure and managed to put Barn Sports under pressure. With half time approaching Barn Sports lead was looking vulnerable.

After a half time team talk and a couple of changes in the line up Ryan eventually started to play some football and it did not take long for Ryan to get on the score sheet. With the Ryan defence and midfield beginning to pass their way up the field and with the pace of C.George and M.Taylor up front the Barn Sports defence did not know what had hit them. Ryan scored 4 goals in the space of 15 minutes with C.George and M.Taylor scoring two a piece to complete a fine 2nd half performance.

The 2nd half performance was terrific and probably the best this year, let’s carry this performance into next week’s final, if we do we will stand a good chance of victory.
