Ryan U12 Blue 4-0 Jays Youth

With Jays Youth arriving at Parmiters 2 weeks after beating the league leaders, this was always going to be a very competitive fixture. Ryan started the game in top form and should have taken advantage of the openings that they created. The movement of the front two was superb, this enabled the Ryan midfield to knock ball after ball behind the Jays defence. Eventually the pressure told and C.George was on hand to score the first, and we did not have to wait long for the second. With Ryan surging forward C.George again was on hand to slot in the second.

The second half was more even, but Ryan still had the best chances to score. Jays began to push forward and put the Ryan defence under pressure, but they could still not threaten the Ryan goal. Ryan extended their lead midway through the 2nd half, J.Luesley beat the offside trap and put the ball passed the oncoming keeper. As Jays pressed forward they began to leave gaps in their defence and after a mix up C.George was again in the right place to score his hat trick and Ryan’s 4th goal.

This was a great performance and the boy’s should be proud of their display, when the going got tough the tough got going.
