Ryan started the game well and should have taken an early lead, Ryan were always dangerous on the break and had it not been for some poor finishing this game could have been over in the first 15 minutes. Eventually Bealonians started to play and could also have scored, with the Ryan defence struggling to get the ball clear and the Ryan midfield not closing down their opponents Bealonians were getting closer and closer to taking the lead. With half time approaching Ryan scored C.George was played through and he did not miss.
Ryan started the 2nd half slowly and this gave encouragement to the home side, with Ryan again failing to clear the Bealonians forward nipped in an levelled the scores. This proved to be a wake up call for Ryan, they began to get the ball wide and use the pace of C George and M Taylor. In the space of 15 minutes Ryan had taken a 4-1 lead Taylor latched onto a through pass, J Luesley converted a penalty and after a mix up in the home side defence a fourth goal was conceded.
This was a good performance but we still do not work hard enough when we have not got the ball.
